GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

The Student’s Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) is constituted as per the UGC (Redress of Grievances of Students) Regulations 2019 dated 6th may 2019 and Circular of University of Mumbai No. DSD/05/2019 dated 14th May 2019.

A grievance redressal cell is a formal way to accept, evaluate, and resolve community complaints or feedback. It should be accessible, and offer a predictable process and timeline for communities to receive a response. A grievance redressal cell can deal with grievances, complaints, and malpractices from students, faculty, and other stakeholders.

The function of the Cell in the college is to look into the complaints raised by any student and pursuing the grievance procedure in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University and College. Grievance Cell strives to solve student’s academic and administrative issues. The Cell also encourages students to give their suggestions in matters related to their welfare, academics and extension activities.

  • Upholding the college’s dignity by promoting cordial relationships between students and teachers.
  • Encouraging students to express their grievances without fear of being victimized.
  • Developing a responsive and accountable attitude among all stakeholders.

THE OBJECTIVES OF A GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE INCLUDE:

  • Providing access: To provide students with immediate recourse to have their grievances redressed.
